We never saw Breena pass, never saw Jimmy grieve. We picked up on the story 2 weeks after her death, creating quite a bit of dissatisfaction with the fans. I was one of them. So, I wrote a screenplay that could have been done, never showing the actress's face, never hearing her voice. If the actress left unannounced and they could not do a Farewell Episode, they could have done it this way...In any case, if you needed closure on Breena, this might help

Dil loses the use of his legs. It may be permanent. A rabid coyote senses the baby inside Nell and wants it. Cal senses that evil has entered the coyote. Dil sinks into depression and tells Nell to leave. It was a challenging story to write, a challenging story to read.
